Electrolyte imbalance

  • Sodium problems —> CNS problems.

  • Potassium (Kalium) problems —> Cardiac problems (i.e. arrhythmia).

    • Hypokalemia can lead to:

      • prominent U wave.

      • T-wave flattening.

      • ST-segment changes.

    • Hyperkalemia can lead to:

      • Peak T-wave.

      • Flattened P wave,

      • Deep S wave

      • Sudden cardiac death..
